Meetings
The SDPF has two meetings each year, as well as other gatherings.
March – Members meet on the Sunday closest to March 15 (Peter Francisco Day in Virginia).
October – Members meet on the third Sunday in October for our annual Business Meeting and Luncheon.
In 2003, the Society began "Walking in Peter's Footsteps" by holding meetings in locations historically significant to Peter and his legacy. The first of these meetings took place where Peter first set foot in Colonial America – in City Point (now Hopewell, Virginia). Other meetings have taken place at Locust Grove, Peter Francisco's home, and in Buckingham Courthouse, Petersburg, Yorktown, St. John's Church in Richmond, Virginia, and Guilford Courthouse in North Carolina.
